how meds-to-beds works

Step 1: Prescription Request
Physician sends electronic prescription to the adherent360 software application which is integrated with their EHR.

Step 2: Dispense from Machine
Telepharmacists coordinate the next steps through the adherent360 app, in-hospital adherent dispensing machine to prepare discharge medications before the patient’s release.

Step 3: Bedside Medication Delivery
Hospital staff deliver the prescribed medications directly to the patient’s hospital room.

Step 4: In-room patient video counseling
A remote pharmacist provides medication instructions/pre-dispensing questions via video counseling to the patient on the handheld tablet powered by adherent360 software.

Step 5: Discharge
After pharmacist consult, the adherent360 tablet allows copayment & patient signature at bedside and is prepared for discharged.
how delivery works

Step 1: Patient opt-in, pre-counseling, and co-payment
Before discharge, patients use the adherent360 app to select a delivery time and pay their co-payment.

Step 2: Hospital pharmacy uses adherent360’s secure lockers to store filled prescriptions while ensuring patient privacy
Once stored in adherent360 lockers, responsibility shifts from the pharmacy to adherent360 technology for seamless delivery.

Step 3: adherent360 automatically coordinates timely pickup through Uber Direct’s secure delivery network
The delivery driver follows a secure process using barcode scanning and geo-location to ensure accurate pickup.

Step 4: Uber Direct delivers prescriptions to the patient’s home
Uber Direct delivers medications securely based on pharmacy preferences for signature or photo verification, allowing patients to receive their prescriptions without leaving home.
